Why work for Marquee Content

Content is the first impression many clients have of Marquee and acts as a key driver for our entire product suite. As a Full Stack Developer in Marquee Content, you'll have the opportunity to own end-to-end features, leveraging a modern tech stack that includes Java and React. You'll be working on highly visible, client-facing features, ensuring they meet the highest standards of availability, resiliency, and monitoring. You will be instrumental in migrating our offerings to a strategic cloud-native platform on AWS, giving you the chance to architect applications from scratch and shape the future of our digital strategy. Responsibilities

*   Design, develop, test, and maintain performant, scalable, and reliable full-stack software solutions.
*   Build, deploy, and maintain APIs and user interfaces for both internal and external clients.
*   Collaborate with sales, product, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
*   Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from initial design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
*   Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing methodologies and processes, focusing on performance, usability, and resiliency.
*   Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform stability and proactively address potential issues.

Basic Qualifications

*   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or a related technical field.
*   Strong proficiency in Javascript, Python, and/or Java.
*   Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
*   Proven ability to multitask, manage multiple stakeholders, and work effectively as part of a global team.
*   Experience designing scalable and reliable systems, with a strong focus on API design/modularity and user experience.

Preferred Qualifications

*   1-2 years of experience building and maintaining full-stack applications in a production environment.
*   Experience writing asynchronous Java code in frameworks like Quarkus.
*   Familiarity with modern UI frameworks like React.
*   Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
*   Familiarity with lean methodologies, including Scrum and SRE practices/frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
*   Demonstrated ability to build trust and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management.
