AON is looking for a Global Assistant Vice President - (Hybrid in New York City) This great career opportunity offers diversified project and client exposure. The essential duties of the selected candidate will include, but not necessarily limited to: International benefits consulting: The candidate is expected to provide advise to senior global HR leaders on an array of global employee benefits topics including benefit strategy, audits, benchmarking, opening for business, M&A, multinational pooling, governance, risk management, global DC consulting, and other relevant work products and projects with very little direction. The candidate will be responsible for managing strategic as well as tactical interaction with assigned clients and coordinating the efforts of a multidisciplinary team of consultants in numerous locations around the world. The candidate will lead internal resources in the formulation and execution of appropriate solutions for clients and prospects. New business development – The candidate is expected to grow existing client revenue by identifying and converting new global benefits projects and cross selling opportunities with other Aon practices. The role entails building, maintaining and managing a steady pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities including regular interaction with a sales reporting application. Client relationship management – The candidate will demonstrate their solid eye for business to develop and maintain strong connections with senior client contacts while providing global benefits technical expertise. Internally, the candidate will serve as a project management lead including fee setting, invoice management, revenue projections, team optimization and service customer concerns. Intellectual capital development and training – The candidate is expected to demonstrate their global benefits knowledge as a leader/member of special project taskforces or subject matter expertise teams. The ideal candidate will also be able to train and mentor junior team members to support their career development and improve their understanding of global benefits and consulting skills. Communication skills – The candidate is expected to have excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills. The candidate must work well with an array of multi-disciplinary Aon team members, with an extended client team or work independently, based on project needs. Qualifications and Educational Requirements: Priority will be given to candidates with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of international or non‐US benefits experience in an HR consulting firm or professional services firm. International benefits consulting experience is strongly desired. Other requirements include: Strong management and strong analytical ability Strong organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to handle multiple projects in as fast‐paced and time‐sensitive environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills Functional knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products Bachelor’s degree (mathematics, finance, economics or other degrees where quantitative skills are required is an advantage) Advanced degree or project management certification is an advantage How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $115,000 to $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus aries and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
