Global Benefits Assistant Vice President
Aon is looking for a Global Benefits Assistant Vice President As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting the North America Global Benefits team to deliver employee benefits captive consulting. This position is based in Montreal-Canada. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The essential duties of the selected candidate will include, but not necessarily limited to: + Lead the active account management for a number of our key US captive clients with the support of other Aon team members. + Lead/manage a team of consultants and coach other colleagues involved as account manager or analyst on EB captive accounts + Facilitate expertise building and personal development of the team members + Develop and lead a Montreal based, Aon Americas hub around EB captive management + Play a support role in sales opportunities and expansion of services to existing captive clients – actively look to expand services with Aon’s captive clients + Represent Global Benefits (and wider Aon) in the external market as it relates to Captive EB Services marketing and thought leadership + Play a leading role in continuing to enhance Aon’s EB captive proposition with global leadership in this area How this opportunity is different T his role will provide international exposure, working with multinational clients and Aon teams across the world. It includes the opportunity to develop as people manager, leading a rapidly growing team of EB captive managers and analysts. The captive account manager will be responsible for the delivery of dedicated Aon Captive EB Services into its multinational client portfolio. In this position, the manager’s main responsibilities will stretch across client satisfaction, team management, sales and Aon representation into the market. Together with the entire Captive EB Services team, the Captive Manager will contribute the positioning of Aon as a market leader in the area of reinsurance to captive of employee benefits . Skills and experience that will lead to success Priority will be given to candidates with a minimum of 8+ years with of international or non-US benefits experience in an insurance firm or professional services firm. We also value demonstrated consultative skills to effectively work in a cohesive team environment as well as the ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external parties. + Base knowledge in the domain of EB financing strategies with hands-on reinsurance to captive experience + Knowledge and technical understanding of Employee Benefit programs and processes globally + Relationship with EB networks is a strong plus + Organize and coordinate resources effectively to meet project deadlines + Team player with focus on collaboration and personal as well as collective team development + People managing experience + Bachelor’s degree (mathematics, finance, economics, or other degrees where quantitative skills are required is preferred) + Strong management and strong analytical ability + Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects in as fast-paced and time-sensitive environment + Demonstrated interest in the global environment, other cultures and languages How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
