We are seeking a talented individual to join the Global Benefits Management (GBM) team at Mercer. This role will be based in Warsaw, Poland, and will be a hybrid role, combing work from home and the office.
The benefits landscape is evolving, and we are committed to help our clients adapt their benefits strategies to meet changing workforce demands. Our Client Delivery Team plays a crucial role in this effort, leveraging our leading GBM proposition and global broker network to help clients effectively manage their medical and risk benefits worldwide. This approach enhances visibility, consistency, and insights, enabling clients to better meet employee needs and strengthen their talent attraction and retention efforts.
The GBM Manager’s role involves managing a team of Account Managers responsible for supporting both new and existing GBM clients. You will lead the team to drive client retention and satisfaction within a growing portfolio of small and emerging multinational clients.
We will count on you to:
Manage a growing team of 6, providing direction and support for development and performance.
Execute team strategy and client initiatives, as well as identify delivery and process improvement opportunities.
Independently manage 2-3 client accounts, ensuring satisfaction with underlying services.
Kick-off the implementation of new clients and assign clients and tasks within the team.
Assist with client escalations and difficult conversations.
Support the GBM Commercial team with new prospects.
What you need to have:
Knowledge of Employee Benefits, Insurance or consulting environment.
5-7 years of client facing experience in multinational companies.
A minimum of 3 years of people management and experience leading a team in a professional international environment.
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English (Polish is not required).
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
