Global Brand Lead, Covid - Vaccine

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Portfolio & Lifecycle management

Coordinate and direct the development of comprehensive global cross functional strategies

Align on products fit into group portfolio & financial targets

Understand customers’ insights, market, and epidemiological trends to develop and execute strategies

Lead Global Brand Team to generate evidence to support value proposition.

Provide guidance/collaborate for development of the market access and pricing strategy to align with value proposition & financial targets.

Identify & communicate evolving needs for product optimization/rationalization

Operational Brand management & Business planning

Coordinate and direct the development of comprehensive, cross functional global strategies and plans for the portfolio

Develop brand identity & positioning for current & potential next generation combination vaccines

Provide guidance/collaborate for development of the market access and pricing strategy to align with value proposition & financial targets.

Coordinate the data generation to support value proposition

Leadership and Personal Development

Manage covid GBT team (marketers, market leads, strategic planners)

Develop, strengthen, and leverage networks within Global Brand Team, Global Product Management Team, regional and priority country marketers and other stakeholders.

Model company core values.

Demonstrate ownership and execute personal development plan by proactively engaging in efforts to improve job performance, individually and for the Global Brand Team

Environment /Portfolio & stakeholders

Geographical scope: global with a particular focus on GBT markets

Portfolio encompasses launches and lifecycle management. Diversified product portfolio including marketed products as well as next generation vaccines under development, including potential combination vaccines

Internal stakeholders: M&S, R&D, Country & Region ComOps Teams, Policy, Government Affairs, Medical, Supply, Value & Access Finance and Pricing

External stakeholders: National Health Authorities, KOLs, HCPs, Public sector stakeholders

About you

Education:  A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.  MBA is preferred

Experience: A minimum of 12 years of professional business experience is required.  A minimum of 10 years of working experience in in the pharmaceutical industry is required

Skillets: Current or prior experience within Vaccines is preferred.  Commercial and Global Marketing experience is required.  Marketing experience with a focus in brand creation is required. 

Soft skills: Ability to work transversally, challenge status quo, being a catalyst / influencer for problem solving, be outcome oriented

Technical skills: Required to have core knowledge about all commercial topics such as markets, customer segmentation, payer systems and networks, consumer behavior, marketing strategy, market research, customer development, Strategic planning process, Finance

Languages: English is a must / French is a plus
