Within the three Business Units (Discover more here (https://www.chiesi.com/en/main-areas/) ), Air and Care Franchises are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of: Pipeline Development Team - focused on delivering innovation and programs leadership accountabilities in close collaboration with R&D, Commercial Portfolio Management Team - focused on maximizing the benefit for the patients and the full potential of marketed / close-to-launch assets, including Life Cycle Management strategies.
Air and Care Franchises are also supported by the Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Business Excellence & Customer Experience Global functions.

Within these departments, you will actively support the Air and Care Franchises businesses. These units are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of: Pipeline Development and Commercial Portfolio Management.
**_Who we are looking for_**
**Purpose**
The Global Brand Leader, Seralutinib ROW is a critical role within the Franchise organization and responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of the global brand strategy for Seralutinib in EX-US (Rest of World ‘ROW’) markets. In this pivotal role, the Global Brand Leader ROW co-creates the global brand strategy with the US Brand Leader and our Alliance Partner, Gossamer Bio. The input and insights from the Global Brand Leader ROW into the global brand strategy are essential in ensuring that the ROW perspective is fully considered, and the strategy is adapted to meet the unique needs and regulatory landscapes of individual ROW countries.
The primary purpose of the Global Brand Leader ROW role is to implement and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that positions Seralutinib for success in the ROW markets while supporting the global strategy. This role encompasses adapting the brand's ambition, value proposition, positioning, and messaging for different regions, ensuring alignment with the broader Franchise strategy. By leveraging insights from the US Brand Leader and engaging collaboratively with the alliance partner and cross-functional teams, the Global Brand Leader ROW optimizes resource allocation and enhances brand adoption. Ultimately, this position aims to deliver impactful commercial outcomes and foster meaningful patient engagement, securing Seralutinib’s success on a global scale.
**Main Responsibilities**
+ Develop Brand Strategy: Partner with the US Brand Leader to support the development of the global short- and long-term strategy for Seralutinib, focusing on Ex-US (ROW) markets. Provide insights from ROW countries to inform brand ambition, value proposition, positioning, and messaging, ensuring alignment with the Franchise strategy.
+ Manage Brand Lifecycle: Oversee the full lifecycle of Seralutinib from launch to post-marketing activities, including Life Cycle Management (LCM), with a focus on ROW. Align lifecycle strategies with the US Brand Lead and the alliance partner.
+ Lead Cross-Functional Team: Co-lead the Brand Core Team with the US Brand Leader, conducting market assessments, forecasting, and planning for ROW markets based on insights from the US.
+ Create and Execute Brand Plans: Lead the development and execution of the ROW Customer/Brand Plan in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the global strategy.
+ Leverage Patient Journeys: Map Patient Journeys for Seralutinib in ROW markets, identifying key leverage points. Collaborate with medical, market access, and the alliance partner to enhance brand adoption across diverse regions.
+ Use Market Insights: Gather and apply insights from customers, payers, and the market in ROW to inform strategic decisions. Ensure local market models align with the global strategy through collaboration with the US and global teams.
+ Collaborate Globally: Work closely with global leaders to ensure that ROW strategies are aligned with the global objectives and are executed cohesively across different regions.
+ Manage Financial Performance: Assist in defining the ROW and global brand budgets. Regularly track financial performance against the budget, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
+ Engage Stakeholders: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals in ROW markets. Ensure internal alignment for consistent brand messaging across all regions.
+ Governance and Leadership: Present insights and strategies to senior leadership and governance bodies for endorsement, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
+ Collaborate with Partners: Work with global, Regional Commercial BPs, US stakeholders and the alliance partner, Gossamer Bio, to ensure strategic alignment and garner senior leadership endorsement for key initiatives.
+ Ensure Compliance: Ensure all global activities comply with Chiesi's values and principles, including Health Care Compliance and the Code of Conduct.
**Experience Required**
+ At least 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong commercial leadership, particularly in the ex-US (ROW) markets.
+ A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in specialty therapeutic areas and experience with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) to effectively inform strategies and engage with relevant stakeholders in international contexts.
+ Demonstrates expertise in global product launches, brand management, and budgeting/target setting, with a focus on diverse international markets outside the US.
+ Experience working with alliance partnerships and co-promotion setups, successfully navigating collaborative relationships to drive brand success across multiple regions.
+ Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in highly matrixed environments, driving collaboration and consensus across various departments and international markets.
+ Experience in directly managing teams
**Skills Required**
+ An “externally wired” approach with deep knowledge of customer and stakeholder needs in ROW, ensuring brand strategies resonate with diverse target audiences.
+ Strong strategic perspective and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in ROW and align differing viewpoints to drive brand success.
+ Ability to lead with confidence, addressing conflicts directly and making tough decisions swiftly to ensure progress across the fast-paced ROW markets
+ A proven ability to approach challenges with pragmatism and a solution-oriented mindset, demonstrating ambition and a focus on delivering value in the ROW landscape.
+ Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in both written and oral communication, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders globally.
**Education**
A degree in business, science, or a related field is required; an MBA is considered a plus
