Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Global Business Development Manager to lead our field sales efforts for Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing a global go-to-market strategy, and creating a comprehensive P2P (Partner-to-Partner) strategy to accelerate our growth ambition and achieve business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement effective field sales strategies to drive adoption and revenue growth for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.Collaborate with regional sales teams to align global sales objectives with local market needs.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage key client relationships, and close high-value deals.Global Go-To-Market Strategy:
Design and execute a global GTM strategy for Microsoft Business Applications.Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and execution.Partner with Microsoft to align GTM priorities and investments.Create and manage sales enablement programs to support sales teams globally.P2P Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a global P2P strategy to leverage partner ecosystems for enhanced business growth.Build and nurture strong relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.Identify and onboard new partners to expand the reach and capabilities of our Microsoft Business Applications offerings.Performance Management:
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, deal closures, and revenue targets.Provide regular updates to management on progress, challenges, and market insights.Continuously refine sales strategies based on performance data and feedback.Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive integrated solutions.Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred8+ years of cloud and technology experience preferredProven track record in business development and field sales, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.Demonstrated experience in developing and executing global sales strategies and P2P partnerships.Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Willingness to travel as required to support global sales efforts (approx. 40% travel within the US as well as overseas).*This is not a complete listing of the job duties. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
