In 2021, we joined forces with Boomerang Agency, enhancing our creative and social content expertise. **Overview** **The Role** Global Business Director, acting as the SPOC across internal and client stakeholders, with 10+ years of experience where your strong leadership skills and strategic superpowers will come into play whilst talking to senior folks in multiple markets and leading the Team to greatness. Your ability to multitask is second to none and will be called upon every day. The role entails global or regional coordination and project management of strategic planning projects, as well as global ad-hoc projects across all markets, managing direct reports within the NL team, and working closely with the Global Leadership Team depending on projects and outputs. As a genuine people person, with media planning experience, who is digitally very proficient and into popular culture and tech. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work across multiple markets and really drive expansion plans for these fast-growing Clients. **Responsibilities** **Responsibilities** Multi-market and multi-channel strategic leadership You will not only be working with our best and brightest in Publicis NL International and our local markets, but the tech industry’s rising stars. Our clients have a start-up mentality and appreciate someone who can think on his/her/their feet, make sound recommendations for both brand building and tactical campaigns and who has an appetite for experimentation and innovation. A global mindset as well as an appreciation for local nuances is critical – we want someone who can think big but is also able to roll up their sleeves if needed to help the entire team deliver against the brand’s ambitions. We want someone who is not just knowledgeable but speaks/writes credibly and persuasively. Leads governance and ensure best practice through learnings (media, process, templates, reporting, QC, etc) and processes in place are being adhered to. Stakeholder management (Internal and External) You will be engaging with multiple stakeholders in Publicis Global as well as local market leads (and key Publicis Media/Publicis Groupe practice leads). We have a highly talented and diverse team and support groups that allow us to do our best work. The person we are looking for should be able to get manage up/down/across and get things done while keeping morale high. In terms of Clients, you will interact with the global, regional and local media and marketing stakeholders. Again, it is critical that you can initiate successful engagements with Clients of different levels, expertise and backgrounds. This includes distilling information from client briefs or internal calls and debriefing relevant internal stakeholders. Assembling teams and assigning owner(s), central or local to deliver each task/project. Managing and setting timelines / deadlines and managing outputs and deliverables. Attending client meetings and calls, and internal calls – weekly status, local market status calls, alignment calls. Attending calls and meetings, and involvement and collaboration agencies to ensure connectivity between media and creative. Project management of global projects pulling in relevant local stakeholders and specialists’ teams to deliver, depending on requirements of each task. includes and not limited to projects such as audience segmentation, propensity modelling, innovation, etc. Onboarding new clients within media / marketing team. People Management We are looking for a self-starter and an effective coach & collaborator. You will be reporting to the Client Lead who will high level guidance and expect you to effectively manage day to day operations. You will manage a team of 2 people directly and cross functionally managing over 10 team members Ensure team is delivering to objectives and offering mentorship and development to team members (both direct reports and peers). Business Development We grow by ensuring our client’s businesses grow. Having a growth mindset and experience with revenue management is imperative. Stewards Commercial and Network management and Operations to understand Team Staffing, and Profitability. We would like this BD to be entrepreneurial and continuously look for opportunities to sell Client’s solutions that they need for their (and our) business to flourish.
