Global Business Services Associate

As a Global Business Services Associate you will provide clerical support for internal business processes (processing of orders) and will include customer support of financial inquiries (basic accounts receivable questions, service/warranty information), or may be a specialized position within the department (i.e. sales tax). You will focus on service includes quick, accurate, efficient troubleshooting. You will provide back office support to both internal and external customers including but not limited to IDEXX Distributor Partners, Inter-company Organizations, Field Sales, CAG Customer Support, etc.

This position is hybrid with Wednesday being a definitive onsite day per week.

What you will do:

Provide consistent quality customer support by answering routine and non-routine questions posed by both internal and external customers through inbound telephone call, writing, fax, or electronic mail.Financial review and approval of Sales ContractsProcessing of quotes & sales orders in applicable IDEXX systems (SAP, Connect Care etc.)Direct and Distributor, instrument and consumable order processingDirect communications with sales representatives and distributor contacts with regard to order status and other sales related information.Setting up and maintaining Customer Account data and IDEXX VCare Plus (ICP).Research and resolve problem orders, billing adjustments, credit requests, etc.Identify and elevate business process improvement initiativesAssist in the design, development, and implementation of new functionality within support systemsPartner with IDEXX Distribution to resolve customer issuesUnderstand and support the vision of specific IDEXX Business Units as assigned to provide a level of service which exceeds the customers’ expectationsUnderstand and act in accordance with the IDEXX Mission and Values statements with a focus on the customer perspective.Complete tasks and results on schedule.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What you will need:

Associate Degree or equivalent business experienceBachelors Degree preferred.2-3 years of related business experience preferred.Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and SAP is preferred.Excellent customer service skills which support the IDEXX mission and values statementAbility to handle difficult customer situations and seek assistance as necessaryAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to effectively function in a team environment.Provide and receive constructive feedback.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Solid organizational skills.Detail orientation.Work well under pressure and tight time constraints.Positive attitude and customer orientation.Problem solving skills.
