Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

We are looking for a Global Category Buyer with 1-3 years of commercial purchasing experience to join our team and contribute to the development of global category strategies for material field purchasing.

Category Strategy Development: Contribute to the global category strategy, defining sub-category strategies aligned with internal and external requirements.Supplier Management: Formulate supplier management and supplier strategy, including supplier development or consolidation initiatives.Cost Analysis & Negotiation: Perform cost analysis and management, conduct annual price negotiations with suppliers, and perform market scouting and cost benchmarking.Capacity & Contract Management: Oversee capacity management, contract management, and supply chain risk management to ensure a reliable supply chain.Market Insights & Risk Management: Continuously analyze market trends and identify risks to maintain competitiveness and supply stability.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: Master’s degree, preferably with an engineering background.

Experience and Know How:

Good analytical skills.Negotiation experience is a plus.

Languages:

Fluent in English.Knowledge of German is a plus.

Working Style and Methods:

Ability to manage business relationships with international stakeholders and suppliers.

Personality:

Self-motivated and able to cope with difficult situations.Team player with flexibility.Good communication skills.
