The role covers broader marketing procurement categories to drive holistic marketing efficiency with a focus on BTL marketing agencies, covering areas like Events, Sampling, Shopper and Design work.

Description of the position:
What will you do as a Global Category Manager? The role has the following responsibilities:
Manage the BTL agency sourcing category with a global spend of about €480m and develop long-term strategy to optimize investments with the right agency partner base.
Ensure OpCo alignment & strong business partnering on BTL Marketing projects that drive productivity. It also requires close collaboration with ATL team to ensure synergies between categories are maximized.
Implement the best suitable agency model for the organization and with that drive one of the key transformational projects for the business.
Strong community management, fostering Learn-Share-Reapply behavior and internal & external stakeholder management to enable further capability building, toolkit development and deployment.
Key responsibilities:
For this role, we’re looking for someone with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex business problems. Part of this will include your ability to connect, influence and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders at every level.
Qualifications:
University degree in a business, financial, commercial, economical or marketing discipline. Experience/ skills required: 8-10 years’ experience required in a similar role (commercial procurement) in a complex international (FMCG) environment. Languages: Fluent English Functional Competencies Strategic Sourcing Stakeholder Management & Story telling Analytical & strategic insight skills Marketing & Sales understanding
