Join Our Team as Claims IT Leader at Marsh McLennan
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh McLennan as Claims IT Leader. This role will be based in London and is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Own the transformation from project to product-aligned organizational structure and execution.
Develop and operationalize the information technology strategy related to Claims applications, recommending short- and long-term IT goals to business and operations leaders.
Drive the introduction and adoption of OKRs across the IT teams to accelerate tech product time-to-market delivery.
Mobilize a well-thought-out program increment plan to link agile deliverables to business prioritization and benefits.
Provide expert and strategic advice to members of the Operations & IT senior leadership team on all technology matters affecting the strategic portfolio.
Coach, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, leading them to meet or exceed the company's expectations for productivity, quality, and achievement while building innovative, cutting-edge IT solutions.
Create a workplace that aligns with Marsh's diversity & inclusion objectives, fostering a diverse team that emphasizes the company's mission, vision, and guiding principles. Ensure the group develops and maintains a culture of collaboration, deep business alignment, accountability for outcomes, and a focus on continuous improvement beyond the portfolio timeline.
Build a team capable of driving transformational change and innovation while balancing and meeting business objectives regarding the portfolio business case.
Ensure all business strategies and process improvements utilize automation to enable growth and flexibility for years to come; maintain the health of the portfolio by implementing the right processes for risk mitigation and problem resolution.
What you need to have:
Significant and substantial Agile delivery experience and a global stakeholder management mindset.
Proven track record of successfully implementing a large number of tech deliverables simultaneously.
Direct Agile delivery experience for large platforms, ideally with low/no-code platforms.
Substantial experience as a senior manager, having managed extensive innovation or IT migration programs/portfolios.
Proven leadership capabilities in managing large teams, including the development of next-generation IT talent.
Ability to quickly create value within a fast-paced, complex work environment.
Superb program management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously to complete work on time.
Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
Insurance/Finance experience preferred but not essential.
Master’s or advanced education in a related field.
