ROLE SUMMARY
The Global Clinical Supply (GCS) Learning & Development Strategy Lead is a position within the GCS Strategic Hubs (GSH) team and will be based in the Philippines. GSH is a platform organization that delivers cross functional support for all of GCS. The GCS Learning & Development Strategy Lead will partner with GCS senior leadership to advance the GCS organizational L&D strategy and deliver optimal learning solutions that are aligned with our organizational goals and priorities. This role involves developing innovative, effective learning solutions to bridge skill gaps and build organizational capabilities, while promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. The role will stay abreast of industry trends, incorporating innovative learning tools and technologies to enhance the organization’s learning and development programs. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who is passionate about fostering an environment of growth, development, and organizational success.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of L&D programs within GCS and partner with GCS functional line subject matter experts to ensure training initiatives meet business needs and drive measurable resultsLead and manage a team of L&D professionals, providing coaching and guidance to support team development and performanceManage the L&D budget, optimize resource allocation and establish KPIs to evaluate training effectivenessAnalyze and establish metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and impact of training programs on organizational performance Identify current and future skill gaps and develop programs to build organizational capabilitiesDevelop, oversee and continuously improve training programsCoordinate with subject matter experts and external vendors to design and deliver specialized training contentMonitor training progress and analyze post training feedback to continuously improve L&D content and deliverySupport the recruitment and training of team membersBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organizationCommunicate L&D strategies and initiatives to stakeholders and gather feedback to enhance program effectivenessEvaluate and implement new learning tools and technologies and drive the digital transformation of L&D practices within the organizationSupport talent management and succession planning through targeted development programsFoster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across GCSREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Learning & Development in the pharmaceutical industryAt least 7 years in a leadership or management roles with direct experience managing teamsDemonstrated multicultural leadership skills and possesses high emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and is a strategic thinker.Highly resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-moving, agile, and complex matrix environment.Must be enthusiastic, hands-on, results-oriented, and a team player.Strong attention to detail and exercise integrity as well as good judgment when handling confidential documents and information.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience designing and implementing successful L&D strategies and programsIn-depth knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design, and training methodologiesProficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS)NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Attend periodic meetings with teams in other global time zones outside normal work hours.
