Red Hat is looking for an APJ Partner Manager to lead our engagement with Alibaba Cloud and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) across Asia Pacific. This strategic role focuses on shaping Red Hat’s cloud growth strategy, developing and managing executive relationships, driving joint GTM plays and facilitating field engagement. You’ll help scale Red Hat’s cloud presence with Alibaba in China and beyond China Market, and drive GCP partnerships across APAC.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, understands the local cloud market, and can build GTM paths without predefined playbooks
Based in Malaysia, this role collaborates with Red Hat’s global, APJ and country teams to drive strategic alignment, partner governance, and execution readiness. You’ll work closely with field-facing Cloud PAMs, solution architects, and partner ecosystem leads in each country to ensure consistent execution against joint plans.
What you will do:
Define and drive regional GTM plans with Alibaba Cloud and GCP aligned with Red Hat’s cloud growth strategy.
Build partner-led solutions with ISVs, SIs, and MSPs—hosted on Alibaba Cloud or GCP and packaged with Red Hat technologies.
Navigate Alibaba Cloud’s market-specific models (legal, pricing, billing,reselling)
Coordinate with local Cloud Partner Managers and global teams to ensure field alignment, regional governance, and consistent execution.
Lead QBRs, report performance metrics, and align joint priorities across internal and external stakeholders.
What you will bring:
8+ years in cloud alliances, partner development, or multi-partner GTM roles
Experience working with or influencing Alibaba Cloud, GCP, or equivalent cloud platforms
Strong understanding of co-sell models and cloud commercial ecosystems
Comfortable working in matrixed and ambiguous environments
Excellent communication skills in English (Mandarin a plus)
