As a Base Metals Trader in our Commodities group, you will have the opportunity to make your mark in the commodities markets, quote large notional sizes, and manage strategic risk of client flows and orders. You'll get to liaise with a diverse range of investors, using your communication and negotiation skills to transact effectively. In this role, you will collaborate with our Technology and Quantitative Research groups to expand our electronic capabilities and have the rewarding task of mentoring junior staff. Demonstrable experience interacting with major institutional Commodity clients is nice to haveExperience with electronic market making is also preferredBachelor degree in quantitative subjects is useful.This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
