Summary of Role: As the Global Commodity Analyst for Information Technology, you will support the company’s IT services, infrastructure, and software procurement category and work with suppliers including Infosys, Accenture, Cisco, HPE, NetApp, AWS, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft. You will be responsible for supporting and executing sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with our overall business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Work closely with the IT Global Commodity Leads to understand the overall sourcing strategy, supplier landscape, and business strategy.
+ Partner with key business stakeholders to understand their software and infrastructure needs and execute sourcing strategies that meet those needs.
+ Conduct market research and identify potential vendors, including leading software and infrastructure providers, niche solution providers, and emerging players.
+ Manage the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, including vendor selection, negotiation of contracts, and contract finalization.
+ Foster strong relationships with key vendors, negotiating optimal pricing, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs).
+ Implement cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for spend consolidation and optimization.
+ Track and analyze sourcing performance metrics, including cost savings, contract optimization, and supplier performance.
Other Responsibilities:
+ Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
+ Education – Bachelor’s in business, computer science, supply chain, or related field.
+ Experience - Minimum 2 years in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or enterprise software, or equivalent experience.
+ Experience with key IT suppliers including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, SAP, and Infosys (or similar suppliers)
+ Travel - Up to 10%
+ Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working in a Fortune 500 IT sourcing/procurement function
+ Experience applying generative AI and other enabling technologies to support procurement
+ Foundational knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes and best practices
+ Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
+ Experience using SAP Ariba for the procure-to-pay function at a large enterprise
Expected Salary Range
$66,800.00 - $120,700.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
