We are currently seeking a Global Commodity Manager who will be responsible for supplier management, ensuring quality product at efficient pricing to exceed customer expectations. This position will be onsite in the Indianapolis facility. In this role, you will be responsible for: + Leading an assigned global category strategy implementation managing suppliers to support operational Quality, Cost, Cash, Service, Risk + Supporting internal customers including up to 7 global manufacturing facilities and R&D/ New Product Introduction + Leading RFQ and quote analysis, evaluating vendors' capability, quality, reliability and price competitiveness + Achieving year-over-year cost savings including negotiations, value engineering programs, contracting, competitive bidding + Managing projects as needed with ability to change direction according to business dynamics The required qualifications for the job include: + Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years procurement/sourcing experience in supply chain or Masters degree with 3+ years experience + Proven experience with procurement concepts, principles, and practices as well as negotiating with suppliers on master supply agreements, inventory agreements, part costs, etc. + Experience developing and executing cost savings projects + Strong knowledge in changing/expanding markets, global trends, global commodity material pricing, procurement quoting, supplier measurement and strategy development. + Ability to work with global team members and travel up to 15% It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Supply chain or operations experience in Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Healthcare industries + Exposure to and/ or understanding of ISO 13485, Good Manufacturing Practice, In Vitro Diagnostic or similar quality system certifications #LI-MR1 Join our winning team today.
