Chubb’s Global Communications team is seeking an intern with a passion for writing, storytelling, digital marketing, creative design, social media, and visual communications. The intern should be comfortable working on projects translating strategy into inspired creative that will ultimately help drive results.
This intern must possess a sophisticated aesthetic sense that works across multiple digital and print media, a dedication to innovation, and a love for the convergence of design and technology. Our ideal candidate will execute and deliver solutions that combine strong concepts and usability with an engaging storytelling experience. This intern will work on a wide variety of challenging projects including written messages, videos, social media, presentations, internal events, and marketing campaigns that focus on bringing communications goals to life in the most engaging ways possible.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for a candidate with an appetite to learn, grow, work hard, and have fun. The ideal candidate is curious and inventive, someone who is great at contributing to the execution of communications strategies, event planning and coordination, digital signage, and creative writing including newsletter articles, content for company intranet, employee communications, and more. We’ll need your help with planning, optimization, execution, tracking and recording of campaign progress, maintaining a calendar of events and adjusting plans according to changes in release dates or schedules, as well as developing tools, guidelines and playbooks for marketing and communications practitioners. You won’t do all of this all at the same time, but you will lend your hand in these types of activities during various points of your internship.
Internship Program is planned to start in June 2025 in our Whitehouse Station, NJ office.
Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree required (many majors will be considered)GPA of 3.0 or above required.Preferred prior work experience, including but not limited to summer jobs, part-time roles, or internships.Preferred leadership experience, including but not limited to work, involvement in community service, athletics, clubs, or other activities.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.Exceptional conceptual thinking.Passion for the digital/mobile/social space.Team player who can work independently, as well as with various cross-discipline teams.Creativity in producing communications materials, including articles, events, presentations, etc. Extreme attention to detail, willingness to ask questions and ability to follow up.Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads and work independently.Experience in working within virtual teams, working with diverse groups, and an understanding of different cultures and complexity of international business.Fluent in English speaking and writing; other languages are a plus.Proficient use of: Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word – LinkedIn and other platformsSponsorship, now or in the future, is not available for this role.
