Global Compensation Analyst

WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you will be part of BCG’s Global Compensation Centre of Expertise (COE), which oversees the strategy, management and development of consulting teams, knowledge team and business services compensation programs. You will be an integral part of the overall team which manages job evaluation, benchmarking and compensation structure design, and aids managerial decisions related to compensation programs in various BCG organization(s) and cohorts(s)
Within the team, this role has a market data focus, and typical activities will include: Managing the administration of the MarketPay market database and event calendar Data preparation, validation and upload MarketPay and WorkDay integration MarketPay job library updates Auditing MarketPay Data Processing Compensation Range updates Managing survey submissions to external data vendors (eg AON, WTW), and receipt of survey and report releases Leading Global Role Matching exercises Reviewing and summarising of Market Data trend reports Assisting in management and structuring of internal SharePoint sites Contributing to assigned key initiatives across the range of areas covered by Global Compensation COE Continuous improvement of processes from ideation to change
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Data modelling and analysis Organizing and prioritizing work, taking initiative Communicating articulately and clearly with stakeholders in written and spoken forms Working within a fast paced and changing environment Presenting complex datasets in a consumable format Navigating complexity and ambiguity Demonstrating a mind-set of continuous improvement
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s degree required; Master/ MBA a plus Minimum 4 years of corporate experience in compensation or a related area, showing progression Familiarity with reward practices, compensation market data and comp modelling Experience with compensation systems (especially MarketPay) and compensation market surveys (eg AON, WTW, Mercer) a strong advantage Ability to drive analysis and processes with guidance Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills Strong written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience working across different geographies an advantage
