As a Compliance Analyst, you will be a key contributor to our Commercial Advisory process, which ensures that appropriate due diligence is conducted during client engagements. This process is essential for identifying and mitigating potential risks, enabling informed business decisions, and safeguarding the integrity of our work.
In this role, you’ll conduct comprehensive risk assessments tied to commercial opportunities, distilling complex risk elements into actionable insights to support decision-making at the highest level. You will leverage your research, analytical, and organizational skills to navigate time-sensitive and multifaceted risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Analysis: Conduct detailed research using internal resources, proprietary databases, and open-source materials to identify and assess potential risksRisk Assessment: Analyze and articulate complex risk elements, synthesizing information into clear, actionable insights for decision-makersCollaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to ensure seamless integration of risk assessments into broader commercial processesProcess Management: Manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive research and risk requests while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailAs a Compliance Analyst, you’ll take ownership of critical tasks, ensuring the effectiveness and impact of the Compliance function. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough reviews of new commercial opportunities, performing detailed research, and identifying potential risksSynthesizing and communicating insights, delivering clear, concise, and actionable risk assessments to inform decision-makingManaging compliance requests and alerts, efficiently reviewing, triaging, and escalating as necessaryUpholding service standards by adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively addressing quality or timeliness challengesProviding meaningful reporting, preparing regular and ad-hoc metrics to inform stakeholders about program performanceDriving escalation processes, preparing summaries and recommendations for senior leadership decision-makingMaintaining precise records, leveraging workflow management tools to ensure detailed and accurate case managementBeyond these core responsibilities, you’ll also have the opportunity to:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.1–4 years of experience in fast-paced, intellectually demanding environments.Proven teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively on distributed teams delivering high-priority initiatives.Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with experience engaging internal stakeholders and external vendors.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (experience with other platforms is a plus).The ability to work independently, with a high level of accountability and minimal supervision.Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
