GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide commercial management expertise, enabling the Company to engage at all times in best commercial practice, manage and mitigate risk, and to contribute to its strategic development. Risk management - review and negotiate commercial & contractual terms to ensure minimized risk exposure and maximum profitability. Manage the co-ordination and preparation of tenders and vendor pre-qualifications ensuring professionally prepared, comprehensive response proposals are submitted within stipulated deadlines. Manage all internal Company resources and external supply chain management qualification databases to ensure that all information is kept updated and recorded in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy at all times.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop suitable global use quotation and tender template formats including framework of special terms. Provide global commercial expertise with consideration to general risk awareness and best commercial advantage i.e. equipment import/exports, permanent establishment, regional taxation (including double taxation treaties), foreign currencies, FCPA & sanctions etc. Ensure the tendering process is undertaken consistently, in full compliance with both Company process and client instruction and provide interfacing with internal departments to enable submission of comprehensive, accurate, professional proposals within stated deadlines. Ensure Company information resources for all entities are accurate, continuously reviewed and updated for tendering/pre-qualification purposes. Manage the preparation of global pre-qualifications, QHSE questionnaires and vendor assessments in conjunction with the respective entity HSE/QA-QC departments. Lead process improvements, aligning tender and project processes, working collaboratively with other departments to improve overall processes. Manage Company global standard terms and conditions of rental, with replication/amendment to suit specific regional entities. Review and manage client draft contractual terms and MSA requirements (including preparation of red line/track change and qualification matrices) for parent company Corporate Legal review. Conduct direct negotiation of terms with clients (with Corporate Legal and local management support), through to contract execution, managing and mitigating Company risk and ensuring commercial and technical completeness. Management of contract execution process and upload to Company contract database. Extraction and dissemination of salient information to internal departments for operational instruction and compliance purposes. Regular internal audit for adherence. Regional/Country Agent/Representative Agreements – management of commercial and contractual arrangements to ensure appropriate governance and to build robust, productive & collaborative relationships; provision of internal interpretation guidance; maintain internal database. Sanctions/Due Diligence – compliance focal point for provision of information and guidance support in coordination with parent company Risk Department. Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics for industry events, including signups, ordering supplies and ensuring smooth execution of event-related tasks. Ensure all marketing collateral, including flyers, brochures, presentations, and tender bid templates are up to date; regularly generate and design new content to support ongoing business development efforts. Initiate, compile, and finalize commercial proposals and tenders for clients, ensuring all proposals align with brand standards and are presented clearly and professionally. Preparation and management of outbound marketing communications materials, critical to ensuring Workstrings International brand and reputation is impeccably represented through creation and delivery of marketing materials, adhering to all design standards and free of quality defects. Ensure cost efficiency and quality control of reproduction in respective regions’ worldwide. Demonstrate behaviors and attitude which align to and support Shared Core Values.
