Job Overview & Key Responsibilities

The Global/BPS Team (50% of your time)

For half of you time you will contribute to the Global BPS team. This team has a key role in the coordination of our global roadmap, ensuring that we deliver on our regulatory promises and the coordination of NFR for the global COO Finance function.

Our BPS Control Monitoring team ensure that COO Finance is fully compliant with all policies within ING. We are the trusted advisors for our Global Management Team and guide the teams to provide the relevant control outcomes. The team consists currently of 2 FTE situated in the Netherlands and will work with you to ensure you are aware of the activities to be performed.

The Global/BPS Control Monitoring team which includes NFR activities have the below responsibilities:

You support the process of Key Control Testing (KCT) from a First Line of Defense perspective for NFR framework controls applicable, cooperating with COOF colleagues.You monitor and support in implementing/executing controls for ensuring compliance with the generic Risk, Control, Audit control frameworks and NFR (ORM/IRM) policies.You support in testing of controls as part of ING’s Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) (SOx).You coordinate periodic Risk Control Self Assessments with COOF colleagues.You inform the COOF colleagues on existing and upcoming risks and advice Risk Owners on mitigation measures and remediation.You document, monitor and report on identified risks and issues in iRisk.Support business for risk acceptance or waiver when required. Making sure all issues are mitigated in time.You support in the creation and design of In Control Statements for ServicesYou support in preparing of the monthly Risk Thematic meetings where you inform the team leads and share generic issues found.

As a local Control and Business Manager (50% of your time)

For the other half of your time, you are a trusted advisor for Head of the Finance and People Services HUB and the Senior Management Team, for Risk and Business Management related items. You assure that the Finance and People Services HUB is fully compliant with all policies within HUB and ING. You support and monitor all our key risk deliverables, regulatory promises, and perform coordination activities for local NFR items.

You will perform local BPS Control activities for the Finance and People Services Hub, in line with the responsibilities of the Global BPS team. On top of this you will have the following responsibilities:

You will perform and coordinate all risk activities related to our sourcing framework in close collaboration with the local and global sourcing team.You will track and trace all sourcing activities (p2p, location strategy and gateway) and create an overarching view (incl. reporting) for local Management, Local Finance, HR and report to relevant stakeholders.You will create local Management Information – Flows, Performance Reports and related tooling for all layers of the Bank - and steer on a transparent flow of information and ‘one language, terminology’ across departments and domainsYou will monitor Dynamic Plans, cost developments and actively report and advice local management about improvement and opportunities (cost containment and allocation keys)You will own the rate cards and understand the drivers behind the rate and create forecasts and communicate about changes (if needed)

At least 2 years of work experience on NFR.
