JPMorgan is seeking a Vice President, Business Manager to support its Global Corporate Banking (GCB) business in Mexico as part of the Finance & Business Management (F&BM) organization. 

As Global Corporate Banking Business Manager Vice President you will be a strategic partner to senior bankers and leadership, driving business management, financial performance, and operational excellence. The candidate will provide data-driven insights, financial oversight, and execution support to optimize revenue growth, profitability, and strategic initiatives.

 

Job responsibilities:

Business Strategy & Execution

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring alignment of business strategy with financial and operational goals. Drive business planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives across the GCB Mexico franchise. Develop insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and client coverage strategies to enhance decision-making.

Financial & Performance Management

Provide P&L oversight, tracking revenue, expenses, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Support forecasting, financial planning, and business reviews in collaboration with regional and global F&BM teams. Identify revenue opportunities and cost optimization levers to enhance business profitability.

Client & Product Analytics

Analyze wallet penetration, cross-sell opportunities, and client profitability across lending, transaction banking, and capital markets. Work with product partners (Treasury, Credit, Investment Banking, Markets) to enhance product monetization strategies. Drive portfolio analytics, including credit risk trends, balance sheet efficiency, and pricing optimization.

Operational & Risk Management

Ensure business adherence to regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements in Mexico. Optimize end-to-end processes, focusing on operational efficiency and control frameworks. Act as a liaison with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to mitigate business risks.

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

Partner with regional and global teams within F&BM and Corporate Banking to align Mexico’s corporate banking strategy with broader business goals. Prepare and present materials for business reviews, senior management meetings, and ad-hoc projects Support talent development and foster a high-performance culture within the team.

 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

7+ years of experience in business management, finance, strategy, or corporate banking. Understanding of corporate banking products (credit, cash management, trade finance, debt capital markets). Experience in financial analysis, P&L management, and business performance tracking. Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
