JOB DESCRPTION
We are looking for a driven individual to join the J.P. Morgan Development Finance Institution (JPM DFI) as a Full-Time Analyst. The JPM DFI focuses on clients’ sustainable development-oriented financing activities and helps to mobilize capital in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As an Analyst within the Global Corporate Banking team, you will work with industry experts as a team, drawing from the full spectrum of the firm's resources, to develop customized financial solutions to meet the needs of clients. The Analyst will play a key role in assisting the team in meeting its objectives and will support the JPM DFI team with its business operations, transaction execution, investor engagement strategy, key performance indicators, pipeline management and strategy.
Our Full-Time Analyst Program kicks off with an Investment Banking training program, giving you key technical and practical knowledge. You’ll also attend an additional Credit training program to round out your skills. Access to senior management and a strong network of peers across the bank will promote ongoing professional development throughout the 2.5 year program.
Job Responsibilities
Working alongside Bankers and Product Partners to execute transactions from initial pitch through marketing to closeGenerate documentation and presentation materials to communicate the anticipated development impact of transactions both internally and externallyMaintain internal reports including quarterly business reviews, governing board documents and other analytical reportsSupport investor calls and meetings, including the preparation of pitch materials and compilation of key informationResearch and monitor investors focused on impact and map out the investor universe including institutional investors, impact investors and official development finance institutionsSupport the design and implementation of systems and processes required for achieving the JPM DFI’s objectives (including liaising with finance & business management, technology, legal, and compliance functions as necessary)Support the team in creating, writing and editing the DFI Annual ReportAssist with the organization of events, trainings and seminars as neededRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor’s degree Ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives.A team player passionate about impact/sustainability, with an interest in emerging markets.Exceptional analytical, research and project management skillsExcellent problem solving, prioritization, and critical thinking skillsStrong attention to detail and precision in final outputsExcellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presentation abilities and the capacity to effectively summarize key conceptsPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scaleCoursework in finance, accounting, economics, international economic relations and/or any other public policy and sustainability related subject a plusGeneral understanding of financial markets, as well as knowledge of sustainability and impact trends, frameworks, and terminology
