As part of the Mid-Cap Segment within the Global Corporate Banking, you are responsible for originating, managing and growing relationships with public and private companies focusing on Singaporean home-grown clients segment. This group provides traditional corporate banking offerings and solutions, as well as investment banking products to its clients. You will also work closely with our business partners including product specialists ranging from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Merges and Acquisition, Treasury Services, Risk Management and Private Banking in identifying and supporting needs and cross-selling opportunities.
As an Analyst within this team, you will be responsible for engaging and supporting deal teams and accountable for pitch book preparation and transaction execution, while ensuring seamless coordination among analysts, senior deal team members, and credit underwriting. As a member of the team, you will also play an integral part in helping to originate and manage client relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
Support senior bankers to build and develop effective relationships with our clients’ treasury function contacts including Chief Financial Officers, Treasurers, Finance Directors, etc. Provide coverage, service and sales support for cash management, traditional credit lending products, Debt Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange and hedging products, flow derivatives, commodities, futures and options products Provide support for balance sheet approval process using financial models Contribute to the development and maintenance of forward-looking client account plans Coordinate and conduct the Know Your Customer onboarding and transactional due diligence needs relevant to our clientsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and Skillsets:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, or other related fields Minimum one year of experience of covering large Singapore listed corporates with understanding of Global Corporate Bank in-scope products Credit risk management knowledge with experience in originating credit and or debt capital markets transactions a distinct advantage Strong awareness of external tools essential to driving the client agenda. E.g. Dealogic and Coalition market data analysis, Rating Agency analysis, economic data, brokerage reports, etc. Strong influencing skills, proven track record of managing cross cultural environments and inter-department collaboration behavior and a strong risk and control focus with clear track record of working in a private side Corporate & Investment Banking framework Display consistently high standard of personal integrity and commercial judgmentPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skillsets:
Participation in a Commercial or Investment Banking Analyst Training Program preferred.
