Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business through the lifecycle of a trade.

Key responsibilities include handling trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems and providing operational support to internal partners.

Job expectations include maintaining a high degree of accuracy with customers and data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Investments and Corporate Treasury trading desks to ensure accurate trade capture, substantiation and reporting.

There will also be the opportunity to be involved in enterprise wide trade control initiatives to automate, simplify and improve the team processes. 

The associate will also perform trade analytics to resolve trade queries and measure and control the day-to-day operating environment.

The candidate will be responsible for reconciliations and event monitoring for derivatives as well as supporting FX, interest rate derivatives, and fixed income.

In addition to the Front Office, the candidate will work closely with Finance, Back Office, Technology and other support partners.  


Responsibilities:

Performs set-up and maintenance of core data across client, account, instrument, and agreement data, and oversees data quality within key data platformsEnsures transactions are completed in an accurate and timely mannerConducts daily monitoring of client trading activity across multiple markets, servicing clients' needsCompletes accurate, timely clearing and settlement of trades with internal and external counterparties, including reconciliation management and governance of trade fails and breaksPerforms tasks accurately during high volume periods in a team environmentIdentifies and flags potential risks in a timely mannerPerform reconciliations and event monitoring for in scope trades.Perform trade maintenance as required (e.g. lifecycle events, amendments) and ensuring trades feed to downstream systems as expectedDealing with trade queries – work closely with Front Office, Back Office and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve trade booking issues, breaks and/or failed tradesPerform basic trade analytics to resolve trade queriesProduction of daily reports – distribute daily reports to the Trading desk, Business Partners and Senior Management (requiring a high level of attention to detail)Resolve queries – Investigate any issues raised to the team, liaising with Front Office, Back Office, Finance and/or the client as necessary.
