Join us! **Job Description:** The global credit aviation business trades a wide range of products related to commercial aircraft assets. The current portfolio includes leases and loans to major domestic and international airlines. The desk is continually sourcing and evaluating opportunities to strategically trade and expand the portfolio. The business is well known externally within the aviation trading market, and internally is a strong contributor to the success of the credit business every year. The lease portfolio is expected to reach 140 aircraft and engine assets by mid-2025, with additional assets in the pipeline. The new team member will assist in managing the significant volume of new deals expected to continue in 2025, and will be a key contributor with respect to transaction analysis, trade execution, modelling and ongoing portfolio management. The position is based on the trading desk in New York. The aviation business sits within distressed trading under global credit products and is part of the global markets line of business. **Key Responsibilities** + Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of accounting and finance fundamentals, specifically in the context of lease & loan transactions + Perform documentary diligence, financial analysis, conduct research, and prepare support materials for internal risk routines including deal reviews, exposure limit approvals, and portfolio presentations to senior leadership + Assist senior team members in ordinary course deal underwriting, transaction execution and ongoing portfolio management + Interact with internal support partners & systems including risk, finance, operations, compliance, COO, technology, insurance and tax + Manage audit processes for bank owned leasing entities + Facilitate NDA execution and KYC onboarding for new deal opportunities + Maintain internal tracking of lease portfolio, pipeline, revenue and expense forecasts + Develop and manage relationships with external / third-party providers including legal, tax, technical advisors, asset managers, as well as trading partners. **Required Skills:** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience + Strong quantitative skills; extensive experience across the Microsoft Office suite + Clear communication skills, strong writing and interpersonal skills, and outstanding work ethic + Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to problem solve and prioritize + Should be comfortable working directly with senior team members internally and externally + Must be proactive, eager to learn, and demonstrate willingness to take ownership and initiative.
