Who we are looking for
Global Credit Finance (GCF) Regulatory Reporting Officer on our Business Support Team, to begin building out a data quality assurance program for GCF regulatory reporting requirements. This position will work with a team of colleagues in the US and Gdansk, Poland to establish processes to monitor accuracy of data used for regulatory reporting purposes, identify issues, and follow through on remediation.

What you will be responsible for
As a Global Credit Finance, Officer will
Establish processes for review of systemically captured data for new and amended credit facilities, including review of facility legal documentation and supporting schedulesTrack identified errors through remediation, research root causes, and use a “find one, fix many” approach to determine whether there is a broader impactCoordinate and track completion of data scrubs as necessary to validate and correct data attributes across large populations of credit facilitiesDevelop plan for self-testing of data reported in regulatory schedulesIdentify trends and recommend potential process and control enhancementsEnsure data quality oversight and analysis by adhering to and executing controlsAssist with responses to internal and external reviews of GCF regulatory reporting and execution of remediation plansCollaborate with all GCF stakeholders and partners Understand, participate in and work in accordance with GCF operating strategy.Analyze and document operational reporting processes and controls.Ad-hoc requests and special projects as neededEducation & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting preferred3-5 years of financial services experienceProficiency in data management and reportingFamiliarity with credit lending products is requiredWorking knowledge of the syndicated bank loan market and systemsAbility to think critically to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for improvementAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasksAbility to clearly articulate ideas to internal and external audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, advanced experience in ExcelAbout State Street
