As the Sr. Manager for the Global DEG PE Dispo organization, you will lead a team of Engineers located in Taiwan, Japan and USA. This global leader’s main responsibility will be to build a group that will develop disposition methods and processes to improve Micron's product flexibility and precision of anomaly detection to enable DRAM Engineering’s timelines and objectives. This team serves all DRAM products, including DRAM in Sustaining Mode.
You possess the command skills needed to run world-class operations and socialize future solutions throughout DRAM Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Units and Global Quality organizations and get leadership consensus. We are a group of innovators on a journey to strengthen our position as a global leader in memory and storage solutions.
*Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Ensuring our disposition limits are set at the optimal points, where the appropriate balance between yield/revenue and quality/customer protection need to be at the given stage of the product’s lifecycle.
Demonstrating a tenacious mentality, visibly in “shifting left” (as early as possible) our detection capabilities.
Ensuring Disposition practices and deliverables are aligned across the different global groups.
Fostering an environment where best-known-methods are quickly shared and adopted across global teams.
Owning Global practices for the DRBs (Dispo Review Boards)
Assisting teams to assess inventory challenges that may be related to downgrade rules or Product Grade balancing.
Core resource at DEG Leadership discussions in all matters related to DRAM disposition. Also expected to maintain a relationship with NVE/NAND Dispo experts to ensure best-known-methods are shared across technologies.
Foreseeing and adapting to changing business needs that may require changes in our disposition limits or methodologies.
Understanding PDTL/Media Health needs for developing and qualifying products and helping make that job, through support in disposition execution, easier.
Support Multi-Pass/Smart Die Pick processes in assembly through Dispo portions of the business process.
Support efforts to maximize “Prime Yield” at Micron (maximizing PG1/Automotive within yielding product)
*Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or other fields of Engineering
Strong project management, planning and organization skills, including ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience leading or being part of a Global Organization
8+ years of relevant subject matter experience in memory products
