Role description:

The Global Digital Learning Specialist provides expertise partnering and working closely with peers, SME’s and stakeholders to ensure a consistent, scalable, future focused and quality approach is applied across all learning and digital content and key projects and initiates, leveraging technologies, and learning methodologies to ensure the success in offering and availability across the global business.

The Global Digital Learning Specialist is a key member in the development and delivery of project requirements for standalone and blended learning offerings and initiatives through the partnering with SMEs, the People & Culture team and external partners leveraging the availability of self-service and guided learning.

Role accountabilities:

•    Control and manage the teams project area ensuring all members of the team adhere to established processes and requirements. 
•    Collaborate with the business, SMEs and other stakeholders on digital needs analysis, 
design, development, delivery, and quality assurance while maintaining a strong 
customer / client focus.
•    Work alongside SMEs to design and develop training content in a variety of formats 
including graphics and imagery, audio and visual, animation, and multimedia to 
support training delivered virtually, and self-paced online /eLearning.
•    Project control, oversee and provide stakeholder management throughout the online 
learning journey design, development and delivery process.
•    Advocate and ensure all content outcomes are aligned to the Arcadis brand and 
learning content design guidelines, including cultural and accessibility considerations.
•    Own the strategy and activities for the re-development / updating of available legacy content, evolving and ensuring adherence to the Arcadis Brand, accessibility considerations and future focus.
•    Support the Global Digital Learning partners and Global Digital Learning Director 
on projects, digital outputs and language translation requirements,  
groups to signpost appropriate training and career development.
•    Utilize expertise, encourage and inspire employees to take control of their development, empowering accessibility and excitement through content and initiatives.
•    Effectively communicate new content, the Arcadis LXP and initiatives utilizing global and regional channels to generate enthusiasm excitement and take up.
•    Work closely with the Global Digital Learning Director to establish a clear reporting and ROI against offering success and feedback of the Arcadis LXP.

Qualifications & Experience:

The Global Digital Learning Specialist will be passionate about all things learning-related and be highly motivated to develop themselves and stay up to date with the latest advancements in the (digital) learning / design industry. They are creative when it comes to learning design, strategy, and methodologies, be able to manage workload effectively and are comfortable with operational tasks required to create impactful learning experiences.

Alongside this, you will have the following:

•    Ability to build and maintain strong team and client relationships.
•    Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, project-oriented organization.
•    Ability to control multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Proven skills in design, development, and implementation of training courses in subject arenas such as technology, project and programme management and engineering.
•    Knowledge of current digital instructional methods and practical exercises to ensure effectiveness of learning strategies and content design.
•    Knowledge and expertise with eLearning authoring tools, i.e., Articulate Storyline / 360 / Rise, and graphics, audio/visual editing software.
•    Experience with learning and performance management systems and Learning Experiences Platforms.
•    Understanding of AICC and SCORM authoring and compliance.
•    Have strong learning agility, combined with a balanced mix of being curious, future focused, driving success and igniting passion and curiosity.
