Global Director of Partner Management, CP & ESG Tagetik

The Global Director of Partner Management is responsible for driving the development of the CCH Tagetik partner ecosystem globally that leverages Alliance and Channel partners to deliver value to customers and business partners. These partners and alliances include service partners, resellers, and technology partners. The focus is establishing global partner programs, partner enablement and globally governing such programs across all regions. The intent is to create a tightly integrated ecosystem to grow sales and revenue and ensure customer loyalty. Furthermore, to lead strategic workflows and incorporate partner feedback into the product development lifecycle. While reporting directly to the VP of Global Sales, the Global Director of Partner Management also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the right goals and priorities are taken care of within the sales and service delivery organizations as well as the VPs and Directors of the CCH Tagetik product groups.

This position will be located in Europe.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Key stakeholders of this role include partners across the globe (currently 220), in particular all Big4 as well as Accenture and Tata Consulting, all employees working in partner management, sales and services globally (around 670) as well as the Customer Success team (120 FTEs) and the Teams working with the 4 product groups (around 200 FTEs). All CCH Tagetik business activities should be leveraged to the benefit of these stakeholders to ensure that the organization accelerates its strong revenue growth targets, resulting in an increased market share within the global CPM market, delivers a “best in class customer satisfaction" and further grows its partner network.
The function needs to collaborate strongly with the other CCH Tagetik global functions, in particular with Global Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success and Service Delivery.

Success in the position requires a strongly commercial mindset with the experience of leading growth within a large and matrixed corporation, cross-cultural experience and the capability to further develop global leadership and service teams. The successful candidate will play an important role within the definition of the CCH Tagetik business strategy and will be responsible for the partner and alliance execution globally. She/he will work with the regional teams to execute the plan in the context of CCH Tagetik global strengths and opportunities.

Key accountabilities include:

Establish a systematic partner program for Big4 and global Implementation partners, regional and local Boutique partners as well as resellers for CCH Tagetik

Refine, package and launch partner programs across all partner types

Work with regional partner managers on partner sales forecasting, further evolve partner service forecasting

Evolve the current partner education and certification program in cooperation with the Customer Success function

Evolve the partner remuneration system

Further drive partner loyalty

Build and develop commercial and strategic relationships with our key targeted partners on Executive level

Work with other teams internal to the organization to ensure that Alliance and Partnership goals are synchronized with organizational goals in particular related to service delivery, sales engagement, NPS and certifications

Support regional Partner Managers to negotiate and finalize key-deals with partners and alliances that benefit the company

Work in liaison with the sales and marketing team to understand current market trends and build relationships accordingly

Strategize newer ways to grow current partnerships

Develop and lead the global CCH Tagetik global partner management CoE.

Job qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.

10+ years’ experience in general management of a global partner organization within the software business including commercial, financial, operational and people management responsibilities

Proven track record in developing a partner and alliance team globally

Ability to network and to establish solid relations on C-level, including Big4 and other global implementation companies

Ability to lead and inspire professionals in a global culture; communicating change effectively and completely, role modeling effective behaviors, building commitment and removing roadblocks, monitoring transition and results

Able to work within a global matrix organizational structure and to balance priorities within a matrixed organizational structure: managing and inspiring teams of people, projects of varying complexity, and the daily operations of the business while maintaining focus on the work that is most critical to success

Highly developed executive presence with strong collaboration skills; able to articulate a value proposition and secure buy-in and support from senior executive leadership, peers, and staff

Superior written and verbal communication skills including executive presentations to the most senior organization levels

Strong operational execution capabilities combined with strategic thinking

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as Salesforce CRM and other supporting tools and enablement software.

Travel requirements: 30% overnight travel.
