E‐commerce Distribution Channel Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesThe mission for the Digital Enabled Sales Specialist is to grow ABB’s online business serving customers online, through the support of our Distribution Channels, considering different channel formats and partnering with e-tailers and marketplaces. In this role you will be a key contributor partnering with channels and implementing plans such as Distributor Online Acceleration Program. You’ll be working with the partners together with the channel team, under the direction of the eCommerce distributor channels Leader.The main responsibilities include:•\tCo-developing and supporting implementation of the Distributor Online Acceleration Program roadmap•\tCollecting from distributors proper data information requirements (such as product data and content quality demands, sellout data, digital marketing campaigns performance data, etc) and ensure contribution to the online business growth•\tSupporting various front-end sales initiatives to further develop the online sales distributor channels•\tSupporting Regional responsible, Countries, Channels and Accounts to develop the regional distributor Distribution Channels online sales strategy •\tBeing accountable to support development and deploy the proper enablement tools (e.g. eFinder, eCart, eFlip); mantaining relationship with marketplaces such as ABB Branded or 3rd parties (e.g. Amazon, Lazada, Mercadalibre); supporting in the definition of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives; supporting in the improvement of distributor webshops (e.g. integration of configurators, development of brand pages, etc.)•\tDeveloping training on the tools as part of the Distributor Online Acceleration Program toolboxes and deliver to the regional marketing and sales organizations•\tAligning with IT resources around system development and frontend/backend adjustments needed to increase digital distributor enablement performance
Qualifications for the roleExtensive knowledge and experience around 5-10 years in digital sales channels and key account managementDistinct understanding of Digital Marketing & Sales tactics to boost selling performance of distributorsDistinct understanding of ecommerce from a business and customer perspective with the ability to manage stakeholders and build lasting partnerships on all levels of the organizationKnowledge of technologies and systems leveraged in an eCommerce environmentTeam player with the ability to motivate a diverse project team, open minded, willing to contribute and ready to learn from experiences, working under pressureFluent business English, additional languages are an advantage and experience working in international environment
