Your role and responsibilitiesThe ABB Electrification ‘eBusiness’ is a multi-billion Euro revenue channel within the company and the primary route for wholesale customers to buy transactional products. The term eBusiness refers to the tools and channels that ABB partners (Distributors, OEMS, Panel Builders, Systems Integrators etc.) use to order our products and manage those orders. ABB is in the process of implementing a digital transformation in this space with the ambition of enabling digital self-serve for customers and supporting the transition from manual to digital ordering.We’re looking for an Global EDI Program Lead to lead the strategy and implementation of EDI connections with global customers, facilitating the digital ordering process. This is a hybrid role that combines product ownership with project management, ensuring the smooth roll-out of EDI across phases of our global eBusiness transformation. The role will report to the Chapter Leader, eCommerce Ecosystem & Strategy, while working within a matrixed team led by the global eBusiness strategic lead.Main responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (eCommerce, Sales, Operations, IT) to drive strategy and accelerate EDI rollouts• Define the positioning and marketing approach for EDI, ensuring clear communication of its value to potential customers• Develop and prioritize a roadmap for EDI implementations, focusing on high-value customers and business impact• Serve as the primary business contact for key customers, ensuring smooth EDI operations and satisfaction• Establish strong project governance, manage delivery across workstreams, and communicate progress to stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery
Qualifications for the role5+ years of experience in product and project management, driving multi-million-dollar revenue through large-scale digital or EDI initiatives in global, cross-functional environments Experience leading EDI implementations for wholesalers or distributors is highly preferred (SAP to SAP, SAP to VAN, SAP to Customer Direct) Strong track record in managing technical rollouts, collaborating with engineering teams for seamless execution, and proficient in both waterfall and agile methodologies Excellent project management, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, engage stakeholders, and manage complex initiatives Adaptable, customer-focused, and tech-savvy, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize in fast-paced, dynamic environments
