What You'll Do

The Global Rewards Enablement Director will be at the core of the rewards function’s success, ensuring seamless management, alignment, and execution of critical initiatives. This role is essential for fostering internal engagement, enabling collaboration, and driving strategic efforts across the global compensation, global benefits and wellbeing, and MDHR teams. A key component of this role is structuring and facilitating function-wide engagement through leadership meetings, team forums, and cross-functional initiatives to maintain alignment and focus on goals.

 

ROLE IMPACT

The Global Rewards Enablement Director serves as a linchpin for the rewards function, orchestrating internal engagement strategies, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective execution of leadership priorities. By structuring and facilitating alignment across the function, this role supports the team in delivering results that attract, retain, and engage top talent while achieving broader organizational objectives.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

1. Overall Function Management and Engagement:

Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the rewards team through engagement and enablement activitiesLead meeting preparation, agenda structuring, and alignment for key forums, including all-staff meetings and leadership sessionsDrive clarity in roles, responsibilities, and next steps across the team, while implementing strategies to improve team engagement and alignmentOversee scheduling, agendas, and follow-up to ensure cohesive and effective leadership alignment across the rewards function

2. Enablement, Rollout, and Communication Strategies:

Develop and execute enablement strategies, including communications plans, training initiatives, and targeted engagement effortsServe as a key facilitator for communication and knowledge sharing across the function and throughout the organization, including managing the global Firm Performance Bonus communications programContinuously improve rewards capabilities and processes, while integrating insights from team sentiment and engagement feedback into actionable plans

3. Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement:

Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leadership, aligning priorities and driving key initiatives that reflect the function’s objectivesPromote continuous improvement and support best-practice sharing across the functionBuild and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable seamless collaboration and successful outcomes, for example through facilitating the comp and benefits network

4. Content Creation and Communication:

Develop compelling narratives and materials for leadership engagement, including executive-level content, such as slides and briefingsEnsure clarity and consistency in messaging to secure alignment and buy-in across teams and senior stakeholdersFacilitate leadership meetings, structuring objectives, agendas, and clear next steps to maintain momentum on key priorities

Technical Reward Initiative Delivery:

Leverage technical rewards expertise to drive impactful outcomes and supportcritical cyclical initiatives across the rewards function, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and the delivery of measurable resultsTrack and monitor progress, dependencies, and outcomes, ensuring clarity and alignment with overarching function and organization goals at all stagesDesign and drive execution of global reward workstreams, acting as the functional lead for critical global rewards initiatives when appropriateAddress challenges promptly and identify risks, providing senior leadership with clear recommendations and decision frameworks, navigating ambiguity to drive clarity and outcomes

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA preferred12+ years of experience in project and change management in global contexts, with a proven track record of leadership, enablement and engagementStrong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level audiencesKnowledge of rewards, compensation, or benefits preferredExperience engaging global, cross-functional teams and senior stakeholdersProven ability to design innovative solutions to complex challenges
