Primary job responsibilities include the following:
Provide direction and education of key initiatives targeted at Waste Due Diligence programsSupport new construction and site selection activitiesEvaluate risk of new waste vendors through due diligence process and providing site supportSupport sustainability efforts around evaluating new waste streams and implementing strategy on identifying options to meet waste goalsSupport waste customer requestsResearch, review, and analyze policy and perform regulatory applicability evaluationsImplement management system criteria into environmental programs across the Micron networkManage site audits to Global Waste StandardsAssure accuracy of reports and permits for compliance with country, state, and local regulationsLead implementation and standard process sharing of waste programsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental, engineering, chemistry, or other relevant technical degree related to the management of environmental issues and waste.4+ years of proven experience in the Environmental Waste spaceCompliance and evaluation experience of waste programs including data analysisTechnical expertise in the area of waste management and balanced operations, in multi-national corporationsAbility to comfortably work across organizational boundaries and geographiesAbility to effectively collaborate with cross-functional organizations to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirementsAbility to be guided by business objectives and determine the best methods for delivering resultsDemonstrated proficiency in independently completing sophisticated tasksExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to adapt to a constantly evolving environmentStrong analytical and problem solving skillsProven facilitation skills including the ability to influence othersAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
