JR70592 GLOBAL FE PLANNING CAPITAL ENGINEER

As a Global FE Central Planning Capital Engineer in Micron, you are part of the Global FE team responsible for managing the capital budgeting, funding and savings process.In this role, you will work closely with Manufacturing Central Team resources, Fab resources, Global Procurement and Finance. You need to have good communication and presentation skills, and able to provide clear and qualitative data analysis to facilitate decision making. You should possess detailed understanding on capital expenditures and able to identify opportunities for capital optimization.Capital System ProjectContribute and provide subject matter expert guidance and requirement feedback in Capital Asset Lifecycle Management (CALM) project – to set up the end-to-end CALM system in SAP replacing MICAP for budget and fund.Communicate status of tasks, report issues, risks, changes, and quality concerns to the project manager and team.Establish reports to monitor Capital Health.Discuss and propose metrics and the action plans required.Monthly Capital and Cash Flow Review ProcessFacilitate the monthly capital review process for Micron’s Front End (FE) Operations. Define, sustain, and continually improve the processes to enable the budgeting, funding, savings and GR/cash flow compliance of Micron’s FE Operations.Provide support and technical expertise to the various stakeholders to deliver an effective capital request to the executive teams for approval.Collaborate with site planning and other Teams to ensure used assets are considered before the commitment of any new capital expenditures, and identify opportunities for capital optimization.Balance the need to push for optimized capital plans against the monthly capital cycle deadlines.Act as a liaison between the sites and other Central groups, to establish and enforce business processes for a sustained and effective capital cycle, and help resolve conflicts as and when required.Executive Capital ReviewGenerate Biweekly and Monthly Capital cash flow update to leadership based on MOR, Loading scenarios, Cashflow adjustments and Projects activities.Validate Micron Capital Ledger and work closely with Finance team and other organizations/team to roll up Board of Directors reporting and Earnings Call data.Generate Wafer Fab Equipment (WFE) data based on validated Finance cash flow reports for Industrial benchmarking analysisRequirements :Masters/Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering. Strong verbal communication and presentation skillsAbility to work closely and effectively with others in a team environmentStrong data validation skills and reporting skillsStrong ability to perform data analysis and problem solvingAbility to map relevant conclusions to support decisions makingExceptional customer focusKnowledge and practical application of statistics, data analysis and problem solvingIndependence and high determination to complete tasks in a timely manner
