The Asia Finance Transformation team belongs to the Finance Division which consists of highly motivated and experienced professionals committed to customer delight. Our customers include Business Units across Asia and North America.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager of Power Suite COE team, this role is primarily accountable for the timely and accurate service delivery of assigned projects. Responsibilities include the following:
Work with business users to solicit requirements of the automation initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, data handling and reportingPartner with the broader Global Power Suite COE to design PowerApps applications and support business casing, architectural and risk reviews, and provide other documentation as required by the Power Suite intake processFunctionally test the PowerApps solutionsProject plan to deliver the PowerApps solutionsCoordinate user acceptance test and fix any issues during testing phasePrepare training documents and provide training to end usersCommunicate to key stakeholders on the progress of the initiativeDocument all processes and other technical deliverables for ease of use and transparencyEffectively communicate significant production updates and challenges to management as well as to the Business Unit in a timely mannerQualifications
Required QualificationsExpertise in designing, and deploying PowerApps applicationsAccounting knowledge and accounting operations background is a plusStrong analytical skills and a desire to become more tech savvyCreative thinking and a change agentOptional QualificationsExperience designing user interfaces (UI/UX) is a plusExperience with other automation tools is a plus including Power BI, Power Automate, Anaplan, VBA, SharePoint, and TeamsAnalyzing user requirements, managing system testing is a plusComfortable working with teams from diverse culture and geographiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change while managing time and workload with aggressive timelinesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across cultures, geographies and senior leadership.Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding communication and active listening skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels within the organization.Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi stakeholder environment and manage multiple priorities.Overtime may be required to meet business deadlines.About Manulife and John Hancock
