Global Forecasting Process Manager
Overview Are you ready to drive PepsiCo’s digital evolution and accelerate transformation across our global operations? The purpose of this role is to elevate Forecasting capability across People, Process & Technology by guiding and supporting global data science team, sectors/BUs with best practices to drive results and deliver value. The Forecasting Manager will design and embed best practices, driving Forecasting Leads and Market Leadership teams to deliver higher levels forecast accuracy. Responsibilities Your day to day with us: Forecasting Engine Functional Ownership: Lead execution, improvement, and troubleshooting of forecasting engine design and related processes from a functional standpoint. Forecasting Playbook Development: Support the creation, documentation, and maintenance of a cross-functional Forecasting Playbook. Forecasting Council Management: Coordinate, prepare for, and facilitate Forecasting Council sessions while driving continuous improvement. Maturity Assessments: Define, audit, and calibrate forecasting maturity assessments. Best Practices & Benchmarking: Identify, showcase, and socialize internal and external best practices and functional value add. Training & Development: Drive L&D initiatives, including self-service training materials and best practice toolkits. Onboarding & Talent Development: Oversee onboarding of new Forecasting Council members and succession planning for key expert roles. Process Improvement: Identify and address gaps and pain points in global forecasting processes and product design. Behavioral Change & Adoption: Drive change management to ensure successful adoption of forecasting improvements. Business Impact & KPIs: Align forecasting initiatives with business objectives and measure success through relevant KPIs. Qualifications What you will need to succeed: Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance. An MBA is a plus. Experience: 5+ years in demand forecasting and planning, ideally in the FMCG industry. Experience with forecasting models and data-driven prediction techniques. Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and drive strategic decision-making. Change Management & Leadership: Recognized as a strong change agent with cross-market/division influence. Ability to inspire and lead teams without direct authority. Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to generate consensus in a matrixed organization. Presentation & Facilitation: Confident presenter and skilled facilitator, able to communicate technical concepts in a business-friendly way. Process Improvement & Compliance: Ability to transform and drive value from new forecasting processes while ensuring compliance and sustainability of implementation. Business Acumen & Results Orientation: Strong focus on achieving business impact and improving key performance indicators. Systems Knowledge: Experience with ERP and demand planning/IBP systems (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9).
