Business Unit: Global Fund Finance – Real Estate Investor Reporting

Position Title: Associate

Position Description: The BREP Investor Reporting team services investors in our BREP investment vehicles as a component of our Global Fund Finance team.

Specific Responsibilities:

Prepare/review responses to information requests from investors in the BREP business, providing portfolio and financial information as needed.Liaise with fund accounting, investor services, legal, tax and finance teams to source information for specific investors for LP performance summaries and various requestsMaintain investor request database and track status of outstanding inquiries in BX NexusAssist in the dissemination of general correspondence with investors and internal requestsAssist in the aggregation, analytics, and preparation of quarterly investor and investor related materials on behalf of the BREP fundsCollaborate on daily basis with team members and COE team to handle LP inquiries.Communicate effectively with teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve matters and participate in technology and process improvement initiativesAssist with maintenance and postings of investor information on BXAccess portal, which organizes and manages BREP investor informationInterface with members of the firm’s global real estate group, ICS team, accounting group, and other groups within the firm to evaluate new investor requests to ensure consistencyAssist in onboarding new funds to existing platforms, including detailed review of underlying LP and fund organizational documentsOversee work performed by off‐shore team members, as needed.Explore opportunities to improve, automate and streamline strategic processes across various BREP functions and processes.Work with Legal & Compliance team to ensure new initiatives/processes are in compliance with BREP fund terms and requirements.Oversee and manage timely update of information leveraged by various teamsSupport the Global Fund accounting team in an operational capacity for all BREP investments (i.e. wire instruction updates, follow-up with investors on late fundings)Assist with investor-specific audit requests.Liaise with external legal team to process LP transfer, name changes, Right of First Refusal/Offer requests.Support quarterly LP performance reporting process in coordination with valuations team.Prepare BX corporate reporting deliverables.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in the private equity industry (Preferably private equity experience)Undergraduate degree in Finance or AccountingCPA or graduate degree preferred.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong analytical skills, time management skills, detail oriented and highly organizedPossesses a strong work ethic, professional integrity, and is a team player with a positive attitudeStrong oral and written communication and influencing skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment and handle multiple projectsThe candidate is a self‐starter that thrives on complexity and seeking solutions

Expected annual base salary range:

$120,000 - $150,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
