Global General Ledger Control - Director (AVP)

Global General Ledger Control – Director (AVP)

Glasgow
3264082

The GGLC Governance team has recently undergone a period of significant change, with a multi-year project to replace the Firm's books and record attestation tool completing in 2023. With the new attestation tool now bedded in, significant work remains on ongoing tool optimisation and subsequent client support and assimilation.

Attention is now focused on the post-implementation environment: there is a significant slate of additional projects impacting the governance environment, and a comprehensive reset of the team's remit and profile is well underway, with a focus on the team's critical role in the overall books and records control environment. This role will be critical in assuring the delivery of the new GGLC model and will report to an experienced Director. The role will work as part of a team responsible for ledger maintenance and reference data, integrity of the General Ledger, and governance and attestation activities. The Glasgow GGLC team is focused on governance and attestation activities, and because of a recent internal rotation has a vacancy for a Director.
