Global Head of Analytics Strategy, Risk Capital
The Global Head of Analytics Strategy and Operations for Risk Capital will help create the vision and lead the execution for our global Risk Capital Analytics team. The position is responsible for articulating strategic opportunities for data analytics in Risk Capital, developing and delivering the roadmap to shape the future of our organization's data capabilities and for driving the data strategy across Aon’s global stakeholders. This is a high-impact role that requires deep expertise in analytics, leadership and cross-functional collaboration. What the day will look like Help set the strategy for Risk Capital Analytics. Manage the QBR process for Analytics across both Reinsurance and Commercial Risk. Manage and have oversight of the various analytic technology projects in progress across Reinsurance and Commercial Risk. Manage a team of people across numerous disciplines to deliver the above. A connector of people across the Commercial Risk and Reinsurance environment – actively investing in relationships throughout Aon to facilitate the role. Work in partnership with ABS and Risk Capital to optimize the outcome. In addition, you will: Ensure the delivery of actionable insights that create informed strategic decisions and enhance operational efficiency. Play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the global data strategy within the analytics function. Collaborate with analytics teams to optimize data usage and propel data-driven decision-making across global projects. Drive the development of investment cases to expand and enhance our analytics strategy Embrace Aon United by collaborating with colleagues outside of Reinsurance while keeping our goals around innovation, partnerships across growth areas, expanding India’s footprint, with Talent, Data and Risk Capital at the forefront. Apply knowledge of the reinsurance and insurance industry to guide strategy and decision-making. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to inform strategy. Engage with clients and markets to ensure our solutions differentiate and provide exceptional value. Responsible for owning and ensuring scalability of systems, processes and talent. Creation and management of a global integrated analytics roadmap. Work across technology, platform, product, and business functions to identify opportunities to leverage broad range of data assets, incorporate data strategy with product strategy. Oversee various current and potential visualization tools leveraging Aon technology wherever appropriate. Oversee global data governance and data integrity protocols and procedures. Drive, mentor, and motivate the organization to focus on continuous operational excellence, improved solution design practices, and high-value technology decisions. Track and analyze financial and operational performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement. Evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions and be able to summarize for leadership/QBRs to create greater opportunity for visibility while also providing recommendations from observations. Skills and experience that will lead to success 15+ years of experience in an analytics-centric environment. Experience of applying analytics to solve insurance industry-specific challenges (such as risk modelling, climate change, portfolio optimization). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a capability to work flexibly across different time zones. Proven leadership building data analytics, data science and data engineering capabilities. Proven track record of coaching/mentoring individual contributors into more senior roles.
