The Role:
Golf Pride®, #1 golf grip brand worldwide, aims to strengthen our commercial leadership team, and the global brand with an experienced marketing executive. This position will be based at our state of the art Golf Pride headquarters in Pinehurst, NC. Relocation assistance is available.
This individual will be the driving force behind our global marketing strategy and will have the freedom to build and execute a comprehensive activation strategy that aligns with our consumer growth vision across all global markets and channels (Retail, OEM).
Long-term, this position will demand an exceptionally talented marketer who is a compelling storyteller, strategic thinker, creative visionary, and globally curious leader. Success in this role requires a drive for marketing innovation, the capacity to thrive in a start-up environment, and a fundamental view of grips as equipment for the hands, not handles for the clubs.
Brand Stewardship: Champion Golf Pride's marketing vision and brand identity, ensuring consistency and integrity across all global touchpoints. Oversee all aspects of the global marketing function, including global market prioritization, consumer segmentation, brand, product and customer marketing, external agency relationships, strategic partnerships, professional tour performance, and communications such as advertising, PR, and social media.
Consumer Experience: Advocate for evolving both the physical and digital consumer experiences to meet the future needs of Golf Pride's global consumers. Partner with the digital team to establish an omni-channel experience roadmap, while also evaluating cost-efficient ways to enhance the physical experience. Focus on creating seamless, innovative, and engaging interactions across all global touchpoints to foster consumer advocacy.
Global Integration: Oversee the creation and management of a comprehensive global consumer activation calendar in collaboration with product management, digital, sales, and other cross-functional teams. Leverage the calendar to drive synergistic and coordinated activations among commercial leaders. Utilize analytics and insights to measure and optimize marketing performance, ensuring data-driven decision-making to support consumer growth commitments.
Creative & Communications: Partner with the leadership team to develop disruptive, category-growing techniques aimed at changing consumer regripping behavior. Actively support product leader growth strategies with compelling messages for consumer, trade, and promotional communications to launch new products and drive sell-through of existing base business.
Media Planning & Execution: Direct integrated media resources to ensure the effective investment of media dollars in achieving growth objectives. Collaborate with digital team to evaluate media resources, trends, technology, and tools, challenging current processes with innovative thinking and opportunities. Use available marketing-mix tools to focus on improving the impact and efficiency of global media spend.
Qualifications:Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field from an accredited institution
• Ability to travel up to 20% (global + domestic)
• Authentic golf knowledge & passion with understanding of industry and consumer
• Minimum 10 years of experience in progressive marketing leadership roles
• Direct commercial ownership over global, branded consumer products
• Must have experience managing global network of agencies
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA from an accredited institution preferred
• Experience building a global marketing organization including managing multiple layers of people leaders
• Experience leading marketing for category-leading or premium brand(s)
• Experienced Executive: Proven track record in change management, establishing trust, fostering a growth culture
• Proven Leader: Skilled in building and leading global marketing functions within matrixed organizations
• Creative Visionary: Expert in developing compelling brand narratives and innovative marketing campaigns for global audiences

The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
