What You'll Do
You’ll be part of HR Shared Services Team supporting the Middle East (UAE, KSA & Qatar) HR Team with HR administrative support in Talent Management Process. As HR Specialist you working closely with the Talent Management Manager for BST. The team leads Career Development (CD) for BST, managing daily operations such as performance reviews, compensation, CD meetings, and complex discussions like performance improvement plans and terminations. It provides expert guidance to employees and managers, ensures compliance with company policies, manages risks in performance-related processes, and build strong relationships locally and globally to support employee career development.
The role focusing on providing support to the Talent Management-BST team. Areas of support include, but are not limited to:
• Utilize Workday to extract reports/documents (CD files, Employee Data, LM reports).
• Conduct probation reviews in Workday, ensuring follow-up with line managers
• Conduct Workday off-cycle maternity/ LOA/ change in role reviews and coordinating communications with Line Managers
• Support in Midyear and year-end process, including conducting tasks on Workday, preparing promotion announcement emails, updating MEHR, and maintaining trackers.
• Create and maintain folders for new joiners/managers, ensuring access is granted
• Support with providing analysis, reports from Chronus tool which supports our BST- Mentorship program – Create powerpoint presentation to market the concept for new joiners to join the program
• Assist with preparing and formatting documents such as probation extension memos, promotion letters, and salary increase letters.
• Support in reviewing Job Descriptions ensuring they are aligned with BST Competencies (currently ensuring alignment with guidelines for BST titles)
• Sense checking new joiners WD profiles and ensuring is aligned with correct Job Profile and titles are in alignment with our BST title guidelines
• Working on ad hoc administrative support as required
YOU SHOULD BE
• Service-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure with amazing attention to details
• Have a strong sense of Customer Service and respond to requests in a timely manner
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills and you are experienced in working with multiple dispersed stakeholders of varying seniority
• Working within a team but also able to work autonomously
• Able to manage competing priorities and adapt in ambiguous situations
• You have a passion for people and people development with high integrity, tact, a positive attitude and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
• You are autonomous, able to tolerate ambiguity and self-motivated. You have strong self-starter skills and like to “gets things done”
• You like working with virtual teams, and ambiguity and have the ability to multi-task on different projects under tight timeframes
• You feel comfortable in both working in detail and understanding the big picture
• You are a strong administrator, structured and organize with intense workload
What You'll Bring
• A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in a relevant field
• A graduation degree is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a regular MBA
• Career/Performance Development experience preferable
• Excellent organizational skills: ability to prioritize, plan, measure and follow up
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English
• Advanced level computer skills; Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment
• Resourcefulness, strong attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience of working with HRMS (Workday experience is ideal but not essential)
• Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential
Who You'll Work With
You will support the Talent Management function for Middle East and will be collaborating closely with all Functions and work with multiple stakeholders, from the business support teams.
