Cisco Meraki is searching for a Compliance Manager to join our Global Fulfillment Operations team! We are looking for someone to work cross-functionally with various teams and partners, and who flourishes with providing superb service. You are passionate about learning the behind-the-scenes operations of a company - how things work, why they are the way they are, and what we can do to make things better. You Will:Lead a global team spanning multiple time zones, supporting escalations, running business activities, revolving tasks, and projects.Meet with our service providers (i.e. couriers, forwarders, warehouses, customs brokers) ensuring we are in line with global trade compliance regulations.Consult with external partners and internal teams to intake compliance requirements tied to local laws and regulations (ex. control statements, HTS codes, country-required product labeling)Support requirements tied to the company’s Trade StrategyServe as trade compliance global subject matter expert, including monitoring and communicating pertinent trade-related regulatory changes within the business function and, when necessary, ensuring that policy/process updates are made, communicated, and implemented.Liaise between corporate import/export functional teams including Finance and LegalProvide and/or facilitate internal and external training to teams/vendors that directly or indirectly handle activities that impact export and import compliance.Keep up with the latest legal and regulatory changes to export control and customs/trade requirements.Understand, compile, and maintain international shipping complexities on a per-country basis.Partner with the cross-functional teams to identify trends, discuss opportunities for improvement, and develop ideas.You Have:This position is based in Chicago, IL.
