Leverage Royal Canin expertise with Mars Global Services (MGS) scale to secure our growth, manage risk and maximize economic profit. The global indirect sourcing lead is accountable to manage the performance of Royal Canin’s collaboration with MGS-Commercial as well as support RC budget holders on the indirect spend that is not transferred to MGS-C. This role is critical to ensure that all sourcing activities are effectively managed, perform in line with aligned expectations, and contribute to the overall success of Royal Canin. The Global indirect sourcing lead oversees and guides regional indirect sourcing teams through a dotted-line reporting structure, manage change initiatives, and ensure consistency in sourcing practices across all regions.
The role will be strongly connected to a broad range of stakeholders such as Senior Leaders (GLT), General Managers, S&F directors, Marketing director, Sales director, Chief Engineers, Industrial Engineers, Technical managers & Maintenance Managers, Plant managers.
Key stakeholders will include MGS Commercial (Global & Regional), the RC Global Sourcing OD, as well as Finance (Global, Regional & Local),
Within regional Commercial, the role works with Commercial Operations, Sourcing & Sustainability to assure adherence to specifications and continuity of supply when needed.
What are we looking for :Education:
Master’s Degree preferably in business or finance related disciplines

The Indirect Sourcing Lead will:
Execute the Global Indirects Sourcing Transformation strategy (GIST transition horizon: 2022-2026).
Track and evaluate the performance of MGS-C against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) ensuring expectations from the collaboration are being met on day-to-day basis.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with managing RC indirect spend, including compliance, operational, and financial risks.
Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.
In collaboration with MGS-C, you will be responsible for managing spend, including budgeting, forecasting, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs, maximize cash, service, quality, & innovation deliveries whilst enhancing supplier performance.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand RC needs, priorities, and ensure that sourcing strategies align with overall business objectives (OGSM).
Manage dotted-line reports from regional sourcing teams, providing guidance, support, and ensuring alignment with global sourcing objectives.
Foster a collaborative environment among regional teams to share best practices and streamline sourcing & governance processes.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders about changes in the sourcing strategies and processes to ensure buy-in and smooth transitions to MGS-C. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on GIST progress, performance metrics, and market trends.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies & ethical sourcing practices (e.g. Commercial Guide)
Collaborate closely and hold Regional Commercial Heads accountable for the performance of commercial activities related to the procurement of Indirects goods & services.
For categories that will remain under RC Commercial scope, you will support budget holders to develop & implement sourcing strategies when warranted; select, negotiate contract & manage global vendors; track & evaluate performance against KPIs and SLAs; and manage risks, costs, and continuous improvement opportunities.
