Your role and responsibilities

The LVS Industrialization Program is defined as strategic initiative driving business and profitability growth by improving/developing project execution processes.Industrialization Program Manager Leads Low Voltage Switchgear (LVS) Industrialization Program at multi-national, cross functional global level using ABB resources throughout their entire MNS project execution phase, from project release through the full manufacturing and assembly process, to the final testing phase.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES•\tThe Industrialization Program Manager leads the industrialization process and is responsible for defining new working phase sequences or improving existing ones to optimize MNS production output and cost within LVS factories. They will also support the implementation in the operation of external manufacturing partners in various regions.•\tThis role also ensures appropriate production methods, cycle time, ergonomic solutions, tools & equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. The Industrialization Program Manager identifies and recommends improvement opportunities from different factories and implements improvement projects aligned with the Global Continuous Improvement manager, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.•\tMoreover, the role involves evaluating new assembly and manufacturing process technologies, exploring innovations around AI, digitization, and automation to identify opportunities to further improve productivity, throughput time, quality, and cost efficiency. The Industrialization Program Manager will also be responsible for developing and proposing the estimated annual budgets of investments necessary for the development of new production processes and tools, in alignment with the Continuous Improvement manager.•\tTo ensure efficient coordination, the Industrialization Program Manager will work closely with other LVS Global Operations functions and the overall LVS cross-division organization, ensuring that cross-product group functions' efforts are synchronized.•\tImplements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.•\tEnsures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.•\tEnsures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.•\tDemonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.•\tEnsures adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB.•\tLeads their own development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team.•\tManages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.This position reports to Global Operations Manager LVS

Qualifications for the role

\t5+ years’ experience in operations by leading local/regional/global level industrialization programs in multi-cultural manufacturing environment.\tProfound technical knowledge of LV switchgear systems and their application by customer across all market segments.\tThorough understanding of the IEC and CCC standards.\tAssertiveness and ability to work in a team and cross-divisional as well as in a multi-layered matrix organization.\tAble to act on own initiative, having strong analytical skills, structured approach and result orientation.\tUniversity degree in field of Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.\tFluent in English – both written and spoken.
