**About the role**
This role supports Group Insurance Director and Group Insurance Manager in providing effective insurance, risk management and compliance solutions to Reckitt business entities.The role includes liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners (brokers, adjusters, captive managers, insurers) to deliver excellent service.
As part of the global insurance team, this role has a global remit and the responsibilities (unless otherwise highlighted) reflect this scope.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate, collate, analyse and review risk assessment information from the individual Reckitt business units
+ Maintain and develop risk information databases using the Risk Management Information System (RMIS)
+ Compile and prepare insurance market submissions
+ Support policy placement process and the administration of the insurance programmes
+ Respond to queries from the business and providing advice
+ Compile premium allocations and deal with internal premium allocation and accounting queries
+ Laise with captive to ensure accurate premium collection.
+ Support claims handling activities
+ Liaise with insurance brokers to ensure all policy documentation received in a timely manner and checked for accuracy
+ Provide data support with acquisition and divestiture activities.
+ Assist with Reckitt’s US insurance programmes including US stakeholder management. Certificate issuance process, renewal data collation, market submission, claims, invoicing, collaterals
+ Collaborate with members of other corporate teams including Finance, Legal, Environment Health & Safety, and Human Resources
**Key Challenges**
+ Liaising with finance teams globally to receive accurate and viable risk assessment information
+ Dealing with strict deadlines for reporting
+ Ensuring information received is both appropriate and timely, challenging the business unit where issues require further investigation
+ Providing technical advice on questions of insurance coverage
+ Managing multiple databases and ensuring information is always 100% accurate
**Qualifications:**
+ Educated to degree standard, preferably in a relevant area of study
+ Professional Qualification – ACII or DipCII or making progress towards
+ Experience required in corporate insurance/risk management within a large commercial organisation or international insurance broker or insurer - minimum 5 years
+ Ideally should have experience of working on global insurance programmes
+ Experience of placing insurance and full end-to-end renewal processes
+ Experience of best practice global insurance, loss prevention, risk engineering and claims handling practices
+ Broad technical insurance policy knowledge
