Global Internal Audit Intern, Summer 2025

providing analysis, forecasting, or reporting financial information, your application of accurate financial business practices will play a fundamental role in how we impact the quality of life for patients all over the world.

How you will make an impact:

SOX Compliance Business Process Walkthroughs or Controls Testing.

Review and coordinate with process owners to update process narratives.

Understand the design of internal controls and processes by performing business process walkthroughs via interviews with business process owners (e.g., Financial Reporting, Revenue and Receivable, Inventory etc.).  

Perform controls testing for America region to validate design or assess control effectiveness. Review and validate supporting documentation to ensure controls are operating effectively.

Perform revenue testing for external auditor (PwC).

Assist in testing EW revenue transactions to ensure revenue is recognized properly, accurately, and timely.

Review purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and proof of delivery to ensure revenue recognition criteria are met.

Address follow up questions from PwC.

What you'll need (required):

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited University for the entire duration of their internship

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Must graduate December 2025 or later.

Must be in good scholastic standing (3.0+ GPA or equivalent)

Must be available to work 10-12 weeks full-time over the course of the summer.

Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience within the healthcare and life sciences industry is a plus.

Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.

What else we look for (Preferred):

Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment. Ability to multi-task while working in a fast paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to shares thoughts/ opinions with the Global Internal Audit team.

Data manipulation and analysis experience using Excel (Intermediate Proficiency).

Data Analytic skills and/or Data Visualization experience are a plus.

Leadership experience: volunteer, clubs, team sports, extra-curricular activities, special projects, etc.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $54,000.00 to $72,000.00 (highly experienced). 

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).  Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
