What we are looking for
The Global Supply Chain Planning Sr. Specialist will report to the Global Supply Chain Planning Ass. Director.
The role is to be the Supply Planner for the Global Supply Chain Department, being responsible for managing inventory levels, service levels, costs, global planning IT agenda, ensuring the timely delivery of materials, and coordinating the supply chain operations to meet the company’s EBITDA, cashflows and sales needs at global level. The role involves forecasting and key focus on inventory and service levels, working with all the countries around the world
Key responsibilities
Inventory & Cost Management: Develop and maintain accurate global forecasts for all the inventory categories and for supply chain costs/savings based on historical data, demand and supply projections. Develop and maintain the top Service Level in accordance with REX global KPI’s. SPOC for inventory and service level management at Global, Regional and local level. SPOC for COGS management for the Regions. Monitor and reduce supply chain costs finding improvement to impact EBITDA. Work closely with finance to manage accruals. Implement cost control measures to ensure the cost reduction is sustainable and in target. Design and Implement actions to reduce costs and inventory across all supply chain costs together with the countries, harmonizing the processes and defining global guidelines. Ensure tools are properly adopted, updated and brings the value expected to optimize service level and inventory. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports on cost and inventory management.
What you'll need
University degree required (Management engineering, economics) 3 - 6 years of experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning, and Forecasting gained in Retail contexts or in Large Organized Distribution Excellent knowledge of numerical analysis and statistical mathematical models Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent knowledge of stock management (accounting and cost management) Good organizational and planning skills Excellent qualities of relationship and communication and Teamworking Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders Fluent in English
