The Global Inventory Process Leader for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for establishing and leading inventory governance. They will provide oversight of all inventory control policies and procedures, driving operational excellence and inventory optimization throughout the supply chain. The leader will work collaboratively across the organization to develop programs anchored against our Danaher Material System (DMS) toolkit that is part of our overarching Danaher Business System (DBS). This role will drive cross functional leaders to optimal inventory levels, governance adherence, and strategic alignment with company objectives.

This position is part of the Global Supply Chain organization. This is an onsite role and is located in Chaska, Minnesota. You will report to the Senior Director, Supply Chain Center of Excellence. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive:

Policy Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain inventory governance frameworks & ensure standardization across all factories and post-factory networks. Establish and enforce inventory policies, procedures, and controls to ensure inventory accuracy, visibility, and financial compliance.Governance: Report, present, and communicate business challenges, risks, key decisions required, escalations & status updates. Own Daily Management structure and cadence designed to promote accountability and performance at both the factory and post factory network. Inventory Analytics & Reporting: Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track overall performance metrics. Support teams in leveraging data analytics to identify trends, root causes of inventory inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Lean & DBS Deployment: Drive DBS, DMS / Lean programs to be shared across factory and post factory network that result in Inventory OptimizationCross-Functional Collaboration: Drive Collaboration with various teams including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, IT and Commercial to align inventory optimization strategies with broader organizational goals.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business analytics, or a related field with a minimum of 9 years’ experience or Master’s degree in field with 7+ years’ experience, or Doctoral degree in field with 4+ years’ experienceProven experience working in inventory management, production planning, materials planning, procurement processes & systems, preferably in a global environment. Demonstrated analytics experience with ability to drive actionable insights (including data gathering, blending, analysis; this includes experience with Oracle, Power BI, analytical tools.Continuous improvement/Lean/DBS experience and demonstrated “hands on” implementing lean tools at Gemba – standard work, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, structured problem solving.Experience presenting findings and making recommendations to drive Inventory Right Sizing, to senior leaders and cross functional audiences.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

APICS certification preferred: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM); or other related certifications (e.g., CFPIM, CIRM, SCOR-P, C.P.M., CSM or CPSM).Experience with budgeting and financial planning models in a company of comparable or larger size and complexity.
